Entry forms must be completed and handed in with the artwork.

PRIZE MONEY PER CATEGORY:    1^st Place R5000.00

2^nd Place R2500.00

3^rd Place R 1000.00

Indemnity: Although the greatest care is taken, the organizers do not accept any responsibility for the loss or damage to the work of an artist while on display. All artworks are exhibited on the show at the artist’s own risk.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Medium: All mediums, 2 and 3 dimensional will be accepted.

Categories: Abstract, contemporary, portraits, sill life, wildlife etc.

Public’s choice: R2000.00

Public can vote for what they think is the best artwork from the competition entries.

(Competition entries can also be displayed amongst the other art in the Art Tent)

Certificates will be awarded for the best in each category / medium.

1. You must be 18 years of age to enter
2. The 2024 Theme is “Celebrating South Arica’s indigenous flora”, use your creativity and think widely.
3. Entry fee: R150 per entry – You may enter as many artworks as you wish.
4. Artworks must be delivered to the Mbombela Stadium Monday, 26 August 2024,               9:00 – 15:00
5. All artworks must be professionally presented. Must be ready to hand/display and work on paper must be mounted on a strong backing.
6. Finalists’ artwork will be exhibited at the show from 5 – 7 September 2024
7. Finalists will receive a free entry ticket to the show for 5 – 7 September 2024
8. The judges’ decisions are final, and the finalists will be announced on x September 2024
9. Winners will be announced on Friday, 6 September 2024, with a special ceremony at the Art Exhibition tent.
10. No discussion will be held with any artists after judgement.
